Employee Spotlight: Laura Marzilli

Meet Laura!

Laura Marzilli is Comsearch’s Claims Processing Manager. She’s been with Comsearch for over 12 years and brings her positive attitude and can-do energy every single day.

 

1. How long have you been working at Comsearch?

12 years.

2. What do you love about working in your industry?

I enjoy seeing new programs/software/applications/procedures being introduced to improve processes. And I like learning about the both the claims process, and the repair process, and how it can be helpful in my personal life.

3. What is it like to work for Comsearch?

Even though many things are repetitious, there is always a lot of variety day to day to keep things interesting. Client satisfaction is always a high priority, so we are always focused on making decisions that best serve their needs.

4. What is something you find unique about Comsearch?

I think we are unique in how flexible we are able to be, with both our clients & our employees. We can usually offer multiple solutions to clients to best meet their needs. And we’re able to offer full remote work with very flexible scheduling to our employees, to ensure a fair work/life balance.

 

5. How would you describe your day to day at Comsearch?

Busy lol! There is always something to do, something to improve upon/fine tune, something to follow up on, etc. Lots of communication needed with both clients & co-workers.

 

6. What’s something you miss about being in the office?

I miss being able to chat with co-workers and getting to know them better.

7. What TV show are you currently binging?

Hellbound & Orange is the New Black.

8. When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?

Spending time with family, being outside, reading, watching movies (especially horror movies) working on projects that I constantly procrastinate on.

9. Before COVID-19 where was your favorite place to take a client out for lunch?

Ordering lunch/dinner with the night crew was always fun! Our favorite was Nacho Mamma’s (Barrington).

 

10. What’s a fun fact your coworkers might not know about you?

I have Halloween decorations as my regular year round décor.

11. What was your first job?

Ceramics finisher & Sandwich Artist at Subway!
