1. How long have you been working at Comsearch?

I’ve been with Comsearch for 17 years now. It’s been quite a journey.

2. What do you love about working in your industry?

I love that the word insurance is also the perfect description for what this industry provides. The feeling of security is priceless.

3. What is it like to work for Comsearch?

Comsearch is continually evolving to meet the needs of our partners and that evolution has brought a truly exceptional group of individuals together to solve problems and provide valuable services to our customers.

I love the sense of collaboration we have at Comsearch. Nothing feels impossible when you can lean on others for help.

4. What is something you find unique about Comsearch?

Comsearch has existed for a long time and as our industry changes Comsearch has proven repeatedly that they are capable of wide sweeping changes to address new and upcoming needs. In many ways, we are not the Comsearch we once were and that is actually a great thing.

5. How would you describe your day to day at Comsearch?

I spend as much time as I can working on pending projects and in between that I help to put out the “fires” that occur throughout the day. I enjoy solving challenging new problems so I truly enjoy my job here as IT Manager.

6. What’s something you miss about being in the office?

I’m one of the few employees that still work in the office almost every day. However, I do miss the random encounters and discussions with co-workers.

7. What TV show are you currently binging?

Just finished the latest season of Stranger Things, gotta love that ’80s vibe.

8. When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?

I enjoy working out (cycling, weightlifting, and hiking among other things), always have a side project or two in the works (most recently upgrading my smart home with a new video doorbell and some smart shades for my bedroom) and I enjoy reading, I always have my Kindle nearby.

9. Before COVID-19 where was your favorite place to take a client out for lunch?

My two favorite places to go have always been Marchetti’s Restaurant and Gregg’s Restaurant. I’ve been going to both with my family since I was a kid and I do not get tired of going there. Gregg’s is my go-to place to sit down and enjoy a good meal with friends and family (don’t forget to ask for the bread and pickles).

10. What’s a fun fact your employees might not know about you?

I love to intentionally break things so I can figure out how to fix them. My parents were very tolerant of it, thankfully.

11. What was your first job?

My first official job (other than some side jobs helping people with their technology) was at McDonald’s. It taught me a lot of fundamental concepts about teamwork and work ethic.
